Acura has unveiled a new concept at the Detroit Auto Show ILX in 2012. This 2012 Acura ILX concept is a preview of a compact luxury sedan, scheduled for release in the spring of 2012. The production version will be offered with a choice of three different powertrains including Acura’s first-ever gas-electric hybrid.

2012 Acura ILX is defined by an elegant design language, and sporting, aerodynamic with a smart, spacious interior and sporty. Under the hood, Acura will place a choice of two engines, a 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder engine or a 2.4-litre inline 4-cylinder. Also, with a 1.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain will offer a hybrid version.
